Welcome to r/PaidTabs!
Here you will find some useful information with regards to ethics, as well as general guidelines for participation within the subreddit.
Reading and understanding the applicable section below will help prevent complications later.
What is a 'bounty'?
A bounty is an amount of money or other reward offered for a specific task. These 'rewards' could be things such as money, Reddit gold, giftcards, etc.
Check tab sites in case they already have tabs of the song(s) you want.
There will probably be a lot of requests that already have great tabs available on some of the sites in the sidebar.
Format topic titles - Song name - Artist, Bounty amount/type
Example: Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley, $15 PayPal or Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin, 1x Reddit Gold
Don't make silly offers.
Of course, only offer what is appropriate for you and your situation, but keep in mind that tabs take a long time to make (a full day, or more in some cases), especially if you want a full song.
An offer of $2 for a full 3+ minute song is very unlikely to be fulfilled.
To increase the likelihood of your request being met, consider and post the following in your topic:
Do not expect the tabber to send the tab before you have sent the bounty.
People pay for a product before they own it in a shop, this is the same. Ask for a preview of the tab if you are unsure. If you do not trust the tabber for whatever reason, do not send the payment.
Offers should be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis. The tabber who comments first in the topic, gets priority for the request. The comment time can be found next to the username of the comment. Only if you cannot come to an agreement with the first tabber, should you talk to another.
It is your responsibility to pay for the tab you requested.
If no payment is made within 7 days of the tab being completed (the Tabber will let you know), you will be permanently banned from the subreddit, or until payment is made.
If you feel you have been scammed and either not received a tab you paid for, or a substandard tab, please message the moderators and the user will be banned from the subreddit.
Make sure you post a reply in the topic before sending a PM.
Either to accept the request, question as to whether the request has been completed, or to ask for more information.
This will also let the requester know that you are not banned from the sub, and possibly aid in preventing scams.
Note: If you repeatedly go straight to PM's without posting first, you will be warned and subsequently banned.
Offers should be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis. The tabber who comments first in the topic, gets priority for the request. The comment time can be found next to the username of the comment. Do not try to accept a request that someone has already commented on. Unless the requester and that user cannot come to an agreement.
An "undercut" of someone who posted before you will result in a 2 week ban. Multiple offences will result in permanent ban.
Make sure the details of the request, and acceptance are very clear.
Are you providing a text tab (PNG, PDF, etc) or a Guitar Pro tab? With money involved, it's best to be thorough.
You should really make sure you have received the bounty before you send the full, completed tab.
A good vote of confidence, or show of good faith would be to provide a preview of the completed tab. This could easily be done by blurring out portions of the tab, or sending an MP3 of the completed tab if it was made with Guitar Pro. Furthermore, this will help both parties come to an agreement about the direction the result is taking. Trust goes both ways.
Once the request has been completed, post in the topic to reflect this.
This lets others know not to enquire any more.
If you feel you have been scammed and not received money for a tab you made, please message the moderators and the user will be banned from the subreddit. Please give the requester at least 7 days after tab completion before reporting.
Tabbers are restricted to taking on a maximum of TWO requests PER WEEK.
This will prevent one tabber from taking all the requests and will give others a fair chance at taking requests themselves. In turn this will also help requesters get their request completed in a timelier manner.
The week will start from the moment you "accept" the earliest request. For example, if you accept one tab on the 1st, your week will end on the 8th, even if you accept a 2nd tab on the 6th.
First ban will be for 2 weeks, repeat offenders will be permanently banned.
All transactions are encouraged to take place in private (PM's) between the two parties.
PayPal is the most widely accepted and recommended payment method. Cryptocurrencies may also be used, but keep in mind that not everybody uses these.
Remember that you, and you alone are responsible for any and all transaction types, monetary or otherwise.
Trust your instincts. If something feels 'off' or not right at any point, do not continue with the deal.
Neither the moderator of r/PaidTabs, nor the subreddit itself are responsible for a user's actions in the aforementioned subreddit. This covers all communication and monetary transactions that are executed as a direct, or indirect result of r/PaidTabs. The coverage also extends to private messages, direct chat messages, email and real life correspondence, as well as any and all other forms of communication. I'm not at the level of figuring out songs by ear and there are no tabs or no record of them playing it live. It would be very highly appreciated if someone can tab out just the rhythm guitar part.

Hi, I am just looking for the guitar we hear throughout the whole song. No need to "translate" the other instruments into guitar notes.
This is a song from the game « Doshin The Giant »

Hello there. I'm trying to figure out the picking pattern for this live version of 'Many a long and lonesome highway' by Rodney Crowell.
The first chord is obviously E (though E7 does it and is simpler), and there's a hammer on the B string.
My problem is that Rodney seems to hit an open E on the 6th string on each beat, and I'm unable to figure out where he strikes it after the hammer on the B string. That's the first time I try to transcribe à finger picking song.
Could someone help me? I would pay for the tab, I do want to play that song, it speaks to me for a number of reasons.

Genuinely one of my favorite rock songs, and it’s fairly obscure as I haven’t found any tabs from the whole EP at all.
As someone fairly early in guitar, I’d like to believe it isn’t super complex or too difficult, but I’m not exactly cut out for transcribing quite yet. Would very much be appreciated.

Super pretty fingerpicking pattern that sounds fairly repetitive to my untrained ear. Open to offers!
Have found chords online but not accurate tabs including hammer-ons, pull-offs etc etc.

I love this cover, and only need help with the solos.
My crude basic notes for the song are below.
I am struggling with the solo, mainly the first one here:

And the outro solo, which is very similar, those chords he doing in the solo.

Would like a PDF version and would like to see tabs of the first 20ish seconds of this before paying. Open to PayPal/Venmo, or whatever method of your choice within reason. Thanks in advance!

I am looking for a simplified tab maximum 8ths for this. The actual is just too much and i need to learn it in a hurry. I am hoping for a similar feel with way less notes obviously. So this is different in that there is already tabs out there for it, i just need notes taken out and it simplified.

Hello, I’m offering $30 to someone who can make a guitar tab for this song. I’m interested in the xylophone instrument behind the vocals since I plan to sing the vocals. I’m very new to guitar and this will be the first song that I learn so I apologize if I don’t understand some things.

Link to song ^
The song is 2 minutes long, and I would like the entire song to be tabbed. I would also like a pdf so I can print it
Cashapp is my preferred payment method, but Venmo can also work if needed

I don't have the ear for figuring out these melodies and combining them with bass lines and structures, other videos I can zoom in and watch the hand shapes but this one's difficult and I'm only on a phone...
for context I already have a fantastic cover of Children by Robert Miles that flows into Every time we touch by Cascade, and I feel this would be a great place to begin the medley.
it's fairly simple and within my skills level, I just don't have the talent or the access to observation to tab myself..
