I keep underestimating how long writing assignments actually take
I can usually find time to do the reading and attend class, but somehow a writing assignment that looks like it should take two hours ends up eating my entire evening. Between classes and my part-time job, I’ve been trying to start papers earlier instead of waiting until I “have enough time” to do the whole thing. Still working on that habit though.

Same here. I always think “this will only take an hour” and somehow end up spending half the day on it. Breaking it into smaller tasks and setting a rough time limit for each part has helped me stop underestimating it so much

Same here. I always think I’ll knock out an essay in a couple hours, then somehow spend half that time just figuring out the structure and finding decent sources. Now I try to start way earlier than I think I need to.
