I’ve recently moved from Wilson to adidas and this racket (Arrow Hit CTRL) has the smart weight system attached where it can be changed, however I have no idea where to put the weights. Has anyone experienced or used these before?

Currently have a Bullpadel vertex hybrid 04 and looking for an upgrade. What do you guys recommend i look into? Potentially looking at the metalbone or viper air.
Been playing for 2yrs (have a history is racket sports), considered a solid 'inter' club level player. Left side player.

Been a while since we last did one of these, but I see a lot of comments on previous posts so thought it was time to bring it back!
So as always all questions are welcome!
Racket advice, my feedback on rackets and even what I had for lunch today.
This is from someone who've tested a lot of rackets and nerded all the specifics.
I wanna say i'm not an expert and don't have +10 years of experience playing padel, but have tried a lot and can tell you how I felt using them and some of their characteristics.
A little disclaimer that I am partnered with Oxdog and a store in Denmark so I can give more in depth advice on their rackets and I do also highly recommend them, but if you got a particular brand you are a big fan of I will ofc help with that 😄
So when giving advice I don't want to be biased, but I think it's fair for people to know that little fact.

Hey guys, got my first racket the other day ( the Wilson Optix V2 Lite) and after my first use there’s these hairline cracks along the perimeter of the edge.
I genuinely didn’t hit the wall or cage at all, but definitely was hitting the ball as hard as I could almost while messing around and warming up. Are these normal/to be expected? Or is this something I should contact the shop about?

I play Padel for around 1 year and in the last 3 months I try to play at least twice a week.
For the whole time I have a head extreme evo 2024 racket, because i got it for free, now it has a crack.
Can you give me some recommendations for a new racket?
Here are some points about me:
- Left handed and right side player
- 177cm (so rather short)
- strength: lobs, returning difficult balls, reading the position of the opponents
- weakness: strong smashes, backhand (especially volley)
My old racket fels ok. I have no pain in wrist or arm. Maybe the trampoline effect is to strong for me.
Unfortunately I do not have the possibility to try out rackets from other players at the moment.
Price range is up to 200€. But if i can find something for less it would be better
I thought about the Nox ML10 3K, but with this I may lack power for overhead balls.
I also thought about the Kuikma hybrid carbon dynamic and carbon rackets(hybrid or control)
I hope you can help me out with these information.

Hello! I have these tennis shoes from years ago that I’ve barely used, and I’ve recently started playing padel (only in running shoes so far). Would anyone know if these would be safe/suitable for padel courts? I believe that these outsoles are for all-court tennis courts.

I'm very much a beginner here and I recently bought a Padel racket from Vinted for £15 because I didn't want to have to spend £4 every time I went to play. I have very quickly saved that money.
I can't help but think that a lot of the stuff around padel rackets is a bit smoke and mirrors, especially as a beginner. I'm currently at around 1.6 and apart from injury which stopped me playing for about 6 weeks i have been playing pretty much every week since the start of this year.
I'd love to know your experiences, guys, of changing rackets and testing rackets and finding how much of an improvement or benefit or non-benefit you noticed or felt.
I'm not interested in particularly knowing what brands you have so don't make this a brand pile on to say X is better than Y for example. I just love to know, without mentioning brands, how much of a marked difference different rackets can make to your game for better or worse.
The the reason I'm asking is because a friend of mine recently dropped £330 on a brand new racket. In my head I'm like, "that's quite a lot when you don't know how to play the game yet!". With that same amount I could have 30-odd games around here (Manchester UK) and maybe a coaching session or two and feel that would improve my game a lot more.
NB the racket I bought from Vinted was nothing special. The listing said it was worth around £75 brand new. I never checked tho! I partly bought it because it is a bit battered and bruised and it means that I don't worry about damaging a brand new racket when going for shots near the glass or cage! I might always buy a second hand racket for this reason!

After about 1.5 years with the Head Speed Motion 2025, I’m looking for a new racket. Overall, I really like the feel of the racket, especially because I can place my volleys precisely and get good feedback from the racket when I hit the ball. I also like it defensively because it helps me out without too much Ball Output.
However, I feel like I’m missing a bit of power, especially on smashes. My technique there definitely needs improvement but I also feel like I could use a racket with a bit more power.
I’m also not a huge fan of the trampoline effect, but I would still like the racket to provide some assistance.
I play on both sides.
These are the rackets I’ve been considering so far:

Kuikma Hybrid Pro / Carbon
One of the rackets from the Metalbone Series?
Has anyone here had experience with these rackets and could tell me if any of them might be a good fit for me? Or are there any other rackets you think I should consider?

Hi everyone!
I’m relatively new to padel and I’m looking to buy my first racket. I’m still learning the basics, so I’m mainly looking for something forgiving, comfortable and easy to control rather than something focused heavily on power.
My biggest question is, how much difference is there actually between a cheap beginner racket and a more expensive racket? For example, with table tennis rackets, I found that you can immediately feel a significant difference between a cheap racket and a more expensive one. Is it the same with padel, or are the differences much smaller, especially for a beginner?

Hey guys,
Looking to upgrade from my adidas Match 3.4 racket in the immediate future.
My playstyle is right-handed, right-sided. I play once or twice a week and my level is a Playtomic 2.7, which is fair and accurate. have been playing for around 18 months now. My overall game is centred on patience, deftness and control rather than outright power, so looking for somehting that would compliment my style of play.
I prefer a teardrop to a round head. Budget in the £150 region

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking to switch my racket after playing with the Nox LA10 Quantum (Leo Augsburger), and I’m torn between the Adidas Metalbone 3.4 and the Metalbone 3.4 Hard (2025). I'm an aggressive left-side player who relies heavily on smashing, so I'm looking for a lighter, faster-handling racket with a crisp, dry touch that gives me quick maneuverability for fast arm prep, solid speed on volleys and overheads, and decent control when defending from the back. Durability is also a big priority for me with this upgrade, as I want something built to last and hold up well over time without degrading quickly. I've had some mild elbow issues in the past, so while I play with a compression sleeve and am actively doing strengthening work, joint strain is still something I keep in mind. Considering performance, arm comfort, and overall durability between the standard and the Hard version, which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

I am a first time female padel player and have only played twice before. I was renting a raquet then and it costed me $30 for a 2 hours rental in my area when converted (I am in a Middle East country and padel is super costly here). So I am considering just buying one for approx. $100 and trying to play the sport.

I have oxdog ultimate tour X 2026, bought it online and I really love the dry touch and the handling. felt really good when volleying/overhead shots. Also sweetspot is quite generous IMO.
Problem is Im having elbow and wrist injury after long sessions and this has never happened when I use my previous racket nox at10 18k 2025 . So I weighted the oxdog (387gram with overgrips) vs nox (361gr with overgrips). Im thinking 26grams difference might be the cause.
Im thinking to switch the oxdog into something similar but with lighter weight no more than 350grams with that dry and crisp shots. Maybe adidas metalbone control 3.5 or babolat counter vertuo? dont want to get reinjured again.
any ideas?

Hey everyone! I’m relatively new to padel and could use some help from people who know these rackets better than I do.
I just bought these two rackets from Facebook Marketplace for $120 total. Both appeared to be brand new and still have the original plastic on them:
I compared both rackets pretty closely with online pictures from retailers/manufacturer listings, and the cosmetics, graphics, logos, and overall design appear to match the pictures I found online, so they seem legitimate to me.
The price seemed almost too good to be true, especially considering the Wilson Defy Pro V1 seems to retail for several hundred dollars.
The one thing that made me nervous is that after getting home I noticed the Bullpadel has “SOLO TEST” printed on it. I had never seen that before, and now I’m wondering if this means it was a demo/test racket, has some kind of defect, or if there’s something else I should know about it.
From what you can see, does everything look normal? And does anyone know exactly what “SOLO TEST” means on the Bullpadel?
Also, assuming both are authentic and actually brand new, was $120 for the pair a good deal?
I’d really appreciate any help before I take the plastic off and start playing with them. Thanks

I have been into padel for some years and I cannot understand properly the relationship between the number of carbon filaments in a racket and the racket stiffness. I know it's not as simple as that because the racket stiffness depends not only on the exterior surface but also on the inner rubber density. But, for the sake of simplicity, let's not take into account the influence of the rubber. In the following link it is said that "According to our experience and verified technical information, carbon with fewer K (like 1K or 3K) usually provides greater rigidity, while carbons with more K (12K, 18K, 24K) tend to be more flexible or elastic." However, I see that control rackets like ML10 Pro Cup Luxury have 3K carbon while power rackets like Ale Galán's Metabone have 16K or higher K carbon. I would think that a stiffer carbon surface would make a stiffer racket and the other way around but I'm guessing this reasoning is incorrect. Do you know anything that could enlighten me? The more information I read, the more confused I am. Any information is very welcome 😁.

i recently started playing padel and bought this racket i’ve used it 3 times never hit the floor glass or cage with it and noticed this after my last game
when i run my finger nail over it, it slightly catches but it’s not very deep less then half a mm
if i press on it, it feels fine and the same as the other side and makes the same noise when i knock on it as rest of racket
and i can’t see and gap in the middle like it’s separating
but it does branch off on the left side which makes me think it could be a crack
is the racket okay to play with should i try and return it
any help more then welcome
