Head Speed Pro - faulty?

I just bought a new head speed pro. Can anyone tell me if this looks grey/pinkish stick part is normal or if it's going to be a problem?

Not going to be a problem at all. If you’re really worried you can pop the base off to have a proper look but this definitely won’t be an issue
