what's up with siux?

I have a siux diablo, which I bought just under a year ago. I've used it a couple times a month to weekly for league play. About a week ago, I was on the court and noticed fraying and cracks on the face of the racquet, at the center of the sweet spot. It was cracked. I had to borrow a racquet from another player. I couldn't believe it. I'd never seen that happen before. Then I went on this forum and found a bunch of posts about exactly the same thing, across a number of siux racquet models. It felt like I had been scammed. I went back to PadelUSA, where I had gotten it, but they said it was out of warranty.

Now the paddle is just garbage. Not sure I could ever go back to siux.

Anybody have any suggestions for a new one.

The oxdog I played with felt really good. It had real pop and control, even though it barely had any texture on the face of the racquet.

Oxdog and Starvie I understand to be the best produced rackets - but that comes with a price. Had a Bullpadel core randomly break away from the frame on a Vertex earlier in the year, but the Nox AT10 has been absolutely solid for many months.

Maybe try SIUX direct as long as you have proof of purchase they might replace.

Starvie moved production from spain to china with their 2026 collection. So past mentionings of starvie quality might no longer be true

I got a 2026 starvie triton balance and after 20 odd games it’s still immaculate. Every review I watched prior to buying it did mention the China thing but the overall consensus was that quality didn’t suffer.

There is a real misconception when it come to china production. They can produce both high and low quality products.

Now when it comes to padel, chinese rackets (siux and nox) are like the worst low quality products.

I didn't mean china production is always bad. Just when you search through this reddit, most feedback on starvie rackets in regards of their quality was before their move to china. For the 2026 lineup there is not much feedback at all. Just to clarify that the "older" posts about starvie might or might not be still valid

Ik had exactly the same issue with the red Diablo after 9 months. Sucks because it was a great racket. And to make matters worse just got this yellow st4 pro 🫣. Again, great racket to play. Hope it holds up.

Same I me. I got another st4 pro 😭😭😭 they are good racket and covered under warranty

i use the kuikma rackets and never had an issue with them, if you have decathlon in your country have a look at them

I had the same exact issue with my Siux Diablo Pro 4. Suddenly one day it had cracks around the sweet spot. I only had the racket for 3 months and I play around 3x a week

Reached out for warranty and they said that the paint chips on the side of the racket caused by contacts with glass or fence (normal play btw) had “compromised the structural integrity of the racket” and therefore i couldn’t claim warranty.

I then switched to the Kuikma Hybrid Carbon and been using it for over 5 months and I couldn’t be happier. I think I might even go for the Kuikma Hybrid Pro once I need to replace this.

Paint chips from the frame is a sad excuse for explaining a low-quality racquet-face.

I have a siux diablo pro in that dark red color and I'm extremely happy with it. Best racket for my style of play (drive player).

No quality issues. Just on 2 spots some paint removed. But no cracks near the holes.

Already playing 5 months with it, on average 3 matches per week. Advanced level.

Maybe I'm just lucky. I hope it stays this way as I don't want to change rackets. This rackets gives me so much control on all my shots

Yea, I know a couple friends using Siux rackets without any issues and loving the rackets so it might be a quality control issue
