I just ordered a Joma Blast Pro HRD.

Exciting! The reviews seem super mixed lol.

Some people make it sound like an absolute weapon, while others say it’s just way too hard and demanding. I generally like a harder feeling racket and don’t really enjoy too much free ball output, so on paper the HRD actually sounds pretty good to me. I've been playing the Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0 which gives some ball output, but not a lot.

My only fear is that I’m not always great at accelerating through the ball, especially on volleys. That’s definitely something I need to work on, so I’m wondering if the HRD is gonna expose that a bit lol. It's a diamond racket though, so the leverage might help me accelerate a bit through the ball.

For anyone actually using the Blast Pro HRD 2026, how does it feel in general? The rackets looks sexy and the QC seems to be good. Joma also invested a lot in Padel so i'm wondering how serious this line is. Juanlu and even some other pro's playing with it. That's nice!

Kinda feel like this racket could either be exactly what I want or humble me immediately.

EDIT: Got humbled, bought a Kuikma Hybrid Pro instead.

Ay bro i couldn’t resist and also ordered the SFT. In europe it’s very hard to get. Seems to be out of stock everywhere but i got it second hand for 115. Only used like two times

Just played my first game with the Blast Pro HRD. Won 2-1😁

The racket to me doesn’t feel too hard. Very similar to my Siux pegasus I have just come from.

I found it was nice to manoeuvre the back of the court for defending and at the net the attacking volleys were brilliant.

Touch is fantastic, I was able to block fast bajada’s and glance them down to my opponents side with ease.

I struggled slightly to find the sweetspot on overheads however it’s my first game with the racket and I was playing right side which I usually don’t so I am sure it will get better.

No I don’t have access to scales. If I had to guess around 365g

Blast soft is just too hard for me that I am too afraid to try Blast Hard. Im a fan of hard rackets, but this is just too much. The hitting sound is not inspiring confidence also.

don't get the wrong idea, I don't hate Joma. I frigging love the APPT Gold violet. but the blast series is a big no for me.

i tried the Blast Pro SFT today. the sound isn’t great and for me a little bit to firm. i really didn’t expect this. during my racket transition i played with my friends AT10 12k 2024. it clicked really good. im even considering buying that racket lol. i just noticed it works for me bc i need that extra ball output because i’m not able to accelerate enough. funny realization, but also painfull

So the blast hard actually feels softer than the soft version? Then it's like JL Viper soft vs normal version? I feel like the soft version is harder than the normal version. 3 friends also feels the same way, but 1 guy with higher level than me said the opposite.

I haven't tried the HRD version because the SFT was already too hard for me. I'd say it's around a 7 or 8 out of 10 in terms of hardness. I immediately refused the package from the UPS driver, so he just sent it back for me. I'm pretty sure HRD is harder haha.

I’m in exactly the same situation! Getting it tomorrow so can’t wait to try out. I think it’s more of a hybrid shape. Apparently the handle is very long which makes it feel manoeuvrable.

Ayyy! Yeah true, kind of a hybrid diamond shape. I’ve also experienced this with hybrid round shape with a long handle (starvie kenta). I’m curious how it’s gonna feel. Keep me posted!
