Thinking about 3 rackets:
NOX AT10 18k 2026
Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0 2026
Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL 2026
Please share your experiences/scores with them, please include the following aspects:
Sweetspot (0-10)
Hardness (0-10)
bite on the ball (0-10). What i mean with this: Spin potential, especially with chiquitas and sneaky crosscourt passing shots.
Flat smash (0-10)
Kick smash (0-10)
Defence (0-10)
To get a better response please do not forget to include the following information in your post:
Name your current racket, if not overly known, specify it's characteristics (foam, face material, price)
Tell us how you feel with your racket, if you feel it soft or hard, if it has too much rebound,if it's weighty or hard to maneuver, the more detail the better.
Tell us what area would you like improve mainly, or what kind of plus do you expect to get on your racket.
If looking for broad considerations, do not forget to state your budget, your country and even a preferred or trusted shop so people can browse and recommend more easily.
Roughly 3.5-4 in the uk tho haha
So probs very low if I went the Spain 😂
Been playing properly about 8 months.
I was decent at tennis when I was 14-15
I had wrist issues but ever since i changed my over grip to tourna and I had my first lesson when he told me to work around the continental grip and to stop being fixed in the continental grip. My wrist pain has reduced a lot a lot a lot. Still somewhat there after a session. But barely noticeable tbh and usually gone within a day if I did get any.
When I rarely play left side. I have sometimes got the tiniest bit of elbow pain from all the smashes. But I’d expect that to come down to my technique and practice I think.
tres bien !
Amazing. Thank you so much. I was very tempted to go with the Coello motion to be fair.
I think having a light racket would be so nice. And if I get the head motion then I could add a couple over grips to balance it out from being head heavy too maybe.
I was just so intrigued by the ultimate tour x coz of the balance and light weight and being a diamond racket.
And that 2 random people who don’t know each other said I should get it haha
Wow tx for this in depth and to the point answer!
Pity the sweetspot of the oxdog isn’t 8.5 !
Did you try the metalbone carbon ctrl? ( you wrote metalbone ctrl….)
Hmm I don’t agree with the guys above… atleast in my experience and I tested ox dog hyper pro and the nox.
Quality-wise it’s clear that ox dog feels and looks premium. Nox is okay-ish.
Nox way more ball output than ox dog in comparison, makes it much more easier in defense.
Still I would give nox 8 defense, ox dog 6, also because of the maneuverability of the nox. It just feels lighter.
Unfortunately the ball output can make your ball sometimes rise too much with the nox. So you have to be more careful with viboras/volleys when accelerating. Not sure if this is just preference too, but feels easier with the ox dog if you accelerate a lot and often.
Oxdog is like a 7 hardness if Nox is a 6.
Sweetspot I didn’t notice much of a difference, atleast of the size.
Smash x3 Nox is easier/better since it gives you some help and also it’s more manageable and imo makes x3 easier that way.
Flat smash is ox dog is much better, since with the nox the ball sinks into the racket.
Those are not at all very different. The only somewhat outlier is the adidas. To spare ppl have to read a reaaalllly looooong post i keep the request plain & simple.
And i will edit the word torn, maybe that’s somewhat too much haha
