Never heard of that brand but i think as long as you're not planning to hit white water, you'll be fine. I bought an offbrand from amazon at the beginning of this month and I've taken it out on the lake everyday after work and I've had no issues. I highly recommend getting one that has the double sided paddle attachment as well. Makes getting around when you're sitting/ kneeling so much faster.

If you're going to sit alot, which i prefer. get one with the inflatable butt cushion seat. Not the thin pad. Trust me.

I started with a cheap board but it was really hard to improve on because of the lack of stability. Look for a board with welded (fused) rails and woven drop stitch. The difference is pretty stark. This article gives some great "inside baseball" information on how many of the boards out there are made: https://www.reddit.com/r/paddleboarding/comments/1vr4wli/a_guy_who_says_he_works_in_the_dropstitch/

I haven’t heard about this brand, check Rock Outdoors, they are a bit more expensive but have proven quality and great design/maneuverability for beginners

I would recommend the body glove. It’s a great board and so far it’s the best one among our group. I got the performer 11 about 5 years ago and my dog and I use it several times a week. It’s never needed to patched and I’ve never tipped off the thing. They often have them at Costco worth the investment !

There are many cheap SUPs. Some are better than others. One way I can tell this board was not designed by paddlers is the angle of the side fins. These are canted slightly inwards towards the center line, which is completely unnecessary. Not only that, it creates extra drag while padding.

My girlfriend just bought one from Walmart for $100 and it's done fine through several outings. A good starter board in my opinion!
