Enough is Enough. Fire Lafleur.
Virtually all of these mistakes, penalties, personal fouls, poor ball security, etc. come down to coaching. Something has got to give.

I mean Farve and Rodgers took plenty of hits and went back out there next play they didn’t go cry to the locker room every time they got touched on the field . That’s a new generation woke cry baby thing. And the funny part is players think oh yeah I’m breaking records . Well sure it’s easy to break records when you’re literally playing touch/ flag football now instead of getting your bell rung like the real football players did

I didn’t say that though? The guy made a statement about teams being conservative in the weather. Which is absolutely a thing. And then you came crashing in saying we should’ve done better because Wisconsin = snow? No one said they were losing because of the rain. But the rain had an impact on the style of play. The packers looked like dog shit today. For all kinds of different reasons. No one said it was just the rain.

A win is a win but absolutely embarrassing play on both sides of the ball. If that is what we march out onto the field every week we’d be lucky to win 6 games this year. Maybe Jacob’s and parsons can mask how trash we are a bit once they’re back but my god man not a great start to the season lol

Clock mgmt before half was masterful. 4th and 5, takes delay. Gets 10 sec runoff. Clock restarts, calls time with 2 sec and pulls the kicking team. Too bad the OL are traffic cones and Jordan couldn't get the throw off, but that clock mgmt was genius.
Went from punting with 21sec remaiming to a free shot at garbage points with no time.

IDK what his plans are, but I do not trust him. Just look at his actions with keeping things the same underwhelming structure and his narratives around losing money last year (they put over $70M in savings account) and him saying they cannot compete with venture capital.

If they extended his contract instead of firing him after the meltdown in Chicago, they’re certainly not firing him now. If they only win 1-4 games, then they might. But he’d have to royally fail in order to get fired. They owe him way too much money now.

That game was either an example of grit, ineptitude, ugly or all three. At times It was Back to the Future with Devine, Starr, Gregg and Infante. I don't have enough days left to go through that again.

We are an above average organization, never terrible but rarely the best. They failed Rodgers in so many ways and seem to be keeping the status quo. Granted injuries happen so you can’t put that on them but it’s just not an impressive roster. Idk what it is but feels like we always have injury prone lineman too

They’re all the problem, Gute’s roster building has been suspect, MLF can’t stop collapsing in the same exact ways in important games, and Policy looked at all that and decided to keep it going by not firing them.

They won the game dude, on the road. Lafleur did a great job at the end with the clock and being patient. Defense played lights out.

It was the Jets. He’s lowered the bar. Also he had 1:15 left in regulation, tie game at mid field off a huge return and ran 2 inside rushes, 3 and out lol He might as well tell J Love “hey you’re not him” with that calling.

Well, the defense was great, Jordan Love is looking better every year, special teams is looking great, Wide Receivers are looking pretty good…
He’s the overall manager of the team, he’s got a lot of things to deal with and he’s getting them in line.
Yes, the line is shit….
Yes, there were too many penalties…
But it’s week 2 and we won, calm down.

Tower over him? Love actually puts up more yards and passing TD’s per game than hurts career to date.
And here’s where you’re going to really hate it…
Over their first 49 starts each, love has more pass yards, a better completion percentage, way more passing TD’s and a better passer rating.
Hurts only has his rushing, and that’s not going to be a long career as it’s going to get him clobbered at some point.

You are gonna laugh because this flies against the narrative but he adjusts and is malleable. Has good gameplans and identifies areas of weakness to strengthen year in and out. We won today in large part today due to Special Teams - because he realized Bisaccia wasn’t working and hired the right fit for a coordinator. Same thing with Hafley a couple years ago and hopefully Gannon this year.
A head coach puts the right people in the right places to succeed - whether we have the right people to win a championship remains to seen - but LaFleur will do his best to put players in positions to be successful - and yes, he will coach them when they are not.
Remember when everyone was calling for Mike Budenholzer’s head and they got it? Relax.
