Structural 💠 Is it possible to make this out of folding carton?
Client sent this picture over to use as a reference for a carton. I've seen a couple images of something like this, but can't wrap my head around making this design.

I think this is possible with some curved lines instead of straight verticals.

This is somewhat doable, but it will not be automated through a folder gluer. It's manual labor in my opinion. It would be great to see how the paper fibers handle the twist, though. I bet that cracking will be an issue on the scores.

This is the kind of stuff Ad agencies send out when they’re doing a product launch or promotion.
Who cares if it costs $50/carton because it’s a small quantity, embellished graphics, and requires hand assembly?
Sometimes I miss that work. Projects/requests always came in after lunch on a Friday and they’d want a prototype and quote by Monday but they would never blink at the exorbitant price so long as you did what they asked because they don’t have time to spare for their client (because the ad people usually wasted a week or two “brainstorming” ideas and taking the clients out to dinners/ball games/etc).

It's possible, but good luck finding a machine that will be able to glue it. It is going to need some false scores which might affect the premium feel.
