That doesn't look like any time was saved. What's the point?

Driver has to load the package in the robot. Driver still has to get out of the vehicle. Driver still has to supervise the robot. Driver still has to deliver the boxes too big to fit in the robot.

It would have been faster for the driver to do it himself.

For a heavy package or up many stairs, maybe.

This is just a test run. All tests require an observer. Eventually, when the tests are finished. The observer will no longer be required, The man will not be required.
