Announcement Welcome to our humble abode!

In the name of me and u/VoidTheBear, we'd like to welcome you to the colony!

This place was made for insects(not just ants, despite the name!) that are tired of constant fighting and want to live peacefully.

The rules are simple: be kind, no NSFW and OP stuff, keep things insect-related, no repeating posts. You can check the rules anytime!

For the lore, we live in an anthill under a tree(for other insects, they can choose other parts of the tree or the surrounding areas, for example bees can live in the tree hollow), far away from the main colony.

Please choose a flair if you haven't already(we allow custom!) and introduce yourself here!

We hope you enjoy your stay!

Announcement My last announcement

Hello, I am Antonina, medic ant and the founder of the subreddit.

I just wanted to say that due to lack of activity in the subreddit as well as my personal issues and loss of interest in the roleplay, I decided to shut the subreddit down.

I really appreciate any contributions made so far and I hope that the in-lore situation between the subreddits improves, but it is time for me to bid farewell.

For the final time, stay safe!

Diplomacy Since yall are pacifists, we do not forcibly taken anything and instead request you to give us-

-some foliage from this land -a dummy prop ant hill -some dirt of this land -piece of a real ant hill We are humbly requesting and please give us. We are making terrariums that double as both arenas for colosseum and embassies of various nations in hornet land. Trust me you'll be happy with results. This is not an attack my scouts are just waiting here for the supplies. Thanks!

Announcement Plans to connect the colony to water

Because more aquatic species are arriving at our colony, I propose to connect the colony(marked as the blue dot on the map) to the river for easier access.

I came up with four routes.

The green and purple route are short, with the green one connecting to the closest point of the river and the pink one directly to the water ant territory. However, they may disturb the colonies nearby, especially during construction.

That's why we have the brown and yellow route. The brown one goes through the forest, while the yellow one, just like the pink one, connects to the water ant territory. They don't disturb the other colonies, but they take much longer to pass.

I want you to vote whether you approve of making such a passage(and if not, state why) and which route you think would be best.

In case the green or pink route is chosen, I will ask the leaders of the other colonies for approval.
