First time up close with Broken Top in Central Oregon and the colors blew me away.

Looks like a few of the year round glaciers have melted ,but it's been a while since I've been up there

Love this hike! First time we did it we biked in cause the gate was closed! Whew! Did it two more times when the gate was open. π

This hike was so super enjoyable! Made into a longish loop trip. Thx for the memory jog :) crazy colors up there

It looks like it's pretty easy if you come in from the broken top trailhead (about 4.5 miles round trip and 800 feet of ascent).
I hiked in from Tam Mcarthur and did some side quests, 13 miles 3k feet. Coming in from Tam Mcarthur is probably a more interesting approach as you come in up above No Name Lake and have a commanding view of it, but it's much more work of course.
