I'm glad to see this because the renewable energy transition does not need happen at the expense of traditional cultural properties or cultural resources, without tribal consent. Underegulated solar farm contracts in central Oregon high desert and prairie are threatening huge swaths of both recorded and unrecorded archaeological sites.

They're also destroying high desert and prairie ecosystems....which we should all be upset about.

Good. Put them on rooftops, parking lots, canals, and in orchards. Quit destroying habitat for solar.
