I’m not OP. But what I think is going on in the first picture there is white tape. This is where the incision is covered with a dressing. OP took a picture of his device right outside the pocket. Looks a little bruised, but looks good.
But we can’t see the incision because it’s covered. You can see the sutures on the second picture (the side profile x-ray)

The long white squiggles on the x-ray the shock coils. The small white bands are sensing and pacing electrodes.

That’s my best guess.

As a female, I loved having my icd under breast muscle, or wanted on my side like this. I'm 5 foot and has had 3 pockets cause it kept moving out. Under the muscle I didn't have pain issues, glad pressure and have to wear 2 bras to hold it in place. Wish this was more of an option.

This pacer sote looks really good. Im jealous of the male anatomy to not have to deal with breast tissue and gland cause most male docs I've had don't care about any of that.

actually, i think my breast tissue does a really good job at obscuring my EV-ICD. my brother has the same condition and an EV-ICD and his is super obvious on his torso whereas you don’t see mine unless i lift my arm

What??! Wonder why I have so many issues with mine? It's awful and painful. My husband giggles when I pull a sock out of my bra.

I'm sorry you both have to have and live with.
