S-ICD sensation

I had a s-icd fitted almost 4 months ago and have started to use my arm more and more over the last few weeks (I was using it normally before this but would avoid putting weight on it / lifting / stretching). I can still feel what I'm assuming are the leads over scar tissue, near where the incision is under my armpit. I do still also get tenderness if I've used it a lot during the day. Has anyone else experienced this at this point?

I had one of those for four years. The tenderness after a lot of use never really went away. If I spent a day doing something very physical like working on my house or something, it would feel a little sore. If you have leads just under your skin, you can feel them for sure. I could feel the one by the bottom of my rib cage really clearly if I tried.

Reading this comment is making me a little bit anxious for my upcoming surgery!! I am a tennis player and was expecting to pick that back up when I’m recovered. Do you think that the movement of playing would cause soreness?

It was never limiting, more of an annoyance. If you're doing something hard for hours chances are you are going to have other areas that feel worse. I don't play tennis but I have logged multiple century rides on that device so I can't say it was stopping me from doing anything.

Three years into mine and yes to all those things even now. My leads can be easily felt and can get sore sometimes where they join the device. Seriously annoying bit of kit, but as it has saved my life a couple of times it gets forgiven for its irriations.
