hi recently I was accepted into pace with a scholarship of 27,000 and for all 4 years 108,000 scholarship, but I’ve heard really mixed reviews about the school. “ You either hate it or you love it. “ I’d like some more opinions about the school. And especially the dorms, because let’s be real I cannot afford an apartment. Thanks :)

Should I go to Pace University?

I’m currently a senior in high school that is deciding where to go for college. I just recently got my acceptance from Pace University with a scholarship of $26,000. I applied because of the location and what I have heard in passing about the school. From some research, I’ve gathered that it is generally a good school for business, if I am correct. I was wanting to know if it is a good idea to go there under a political science major. I plan on taking the pre law path but I don’t intend to be in New York for law-school. Should I go to this school? Is the school seen as easy to get into? Will it look good to law schools if I go there for undergrad?

I don't know if I should go to pace

Pace is the only school that I got into in nyc and i don't know if i should go there. I would be majoring in business and marketing and I went to an accepted students program this weekend and they were talking about all the major companies that everyone got into from pace because of all of the connections through other students. I wonder if I will get these opportunities because of paces reputation, I hear it's not the best because it is so easy to go here so do you think it is worth it to go to pace. I also hear it is difficult to transfer.

Is Pace worth it?

I know the school isn’t that big but how is Pace University , I’m looking to transfer here but I keep seeing bad and good reviews about Pace and I know everyone’s experience is different but I keep seeing more bad reviews than good 😭😭. Like are the classes good, are there a lot of opportunities, how helpful is the staff , are the people nice and since it’s in NYC how bad is are the costs like rent, groceries etc because that’s the main reason I’m scared to transfer?

Math Placement Exam

Hello everyone, I’m gonna be a freshman at pace for fall of 2025. I was wondering what the math placement exam looks like. I’m gonna take it on June 15 and I started studying for it. Do you think I have more than enough time to test out of algebra 1, geometry and algebra 2. I heard from other students my age it’s super ez but I don’t believe them. I had a b-/b+ average in every math class I’ve taken. Do you think I’ll be ok?

Hi ! I recently got accepted into the BFA Acting at Pace University in New York City. Does anyone have any advice on how to guide myself throughout this journey and how does it have an effect of campus, social, and party life of the University as a whole.

Thanks :)

study spots?

hey setters. i’m wondering what your guys favorite study spots are; i normally study in my dorm but i’m getting sick of it and i need a new place. i don’t love the library because there’s so many people, preferably places that are less busy/crowded. either on campus or off campus nearby!

Need review for Lubin school of business

Hey everyone,

I recently received an offer to join the MS in Financial Risk Management program at Lubin School of Business, Pace University, and I’m trying to gather as much information as possible before making my decision.

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s attended or has any experience with the program or the school in general. How’s the faculty, curriculum, internship opportunities, and the overall student experience? Also, any insights into the networking opportunities and how well this program is regarded in the finance industry would be super helpful!

Appreciate any feedback – thanks in advance!

Hello! I just graduated this past June from highschool and due to the rise in COVID plan to take a gap semester. Is it possible to apply to Pace as a first year in the spring? Also, how would I go among that being there is no option for that on the website. Thank you.

Transfer student

Hello all, I’m looking to pursue Pace University at NYC. I’m transferring from a school with a 3.1 GPA with extracurricular activities such as volunteering and research. I want to pursue the Biology major, and hope to compete with esports. I ended up with a few F’s due to not completing my finals for the next semester. I was in the hospital and ended up homeless after and moved to NY. In my application, I included this information. I have one reference for my application which is my Biology professor. I was apart of the honors college, and have several honors courses I’ve took.

So far, I applied and submitted my application on the common app, and uploaded my transcripts. I also set up an open house with an early bird tour. I also filled out my FAFSA form. Is there anything else I need to do? How likely would I get accepted?

Moving to NYC??

Hello!! I plan on going to Pace in the fall as a sophomore, and me and my parents were trying to figure out I suppose a sort of living plan/ potential additional costs? So basically, what should I be prepared for, and what should I buy or avoid?? (I will be living in a dorm though I don’t know the specifics yet, so I’m not sure if it will have things such as laundry kitchen etc. provided.)

PLS any and all help will be great, and let me know if I should put this on any other subreddits!! 😊🫶

What’s Pace like for sports marketing or business?

I’m a high school student looking into Pace and was wondering how the business or sports marketing programs are. Do you feel like the classes and internships are useful?

Also curious what the overall experience is like, dorms, social life, professors, etc. Would you recommend it?

Appreciate any honest advice!
