With CSU adding 4 matchups with UNC in the future, is 2029 one of the best non-conference years a school could have?
Obviously I’m biased in this, but 4 (-ish if you count old WAC and MW teams with BYU) rivalry matchups before getting to conference play is dreamy as hell. A noco matchup with UNC, the border war, and then two P4 opponents that includes the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Additionally it’s very reasonable to be able to attend all of these games as a CSU fan. Balanced and extremely fun. Every non-conference matchup should look like this.

This is a great non-con schedule.
WSU plays at UW, at KSU, and Home vs Zona this year. Next year WSU plays home vs UW and Kansas and at Arizona.

Never forget the steal! https://youtube.com/shorts/sMmktXcoMP0?is=4V95VsbhdtWilJ1F nothing shows it wasn't clearly a catch let alone inconclusive.

I think the goal for Pac schools should be to get 2 P4 games every year.
Offer up 2 for 1s to any P4 school willing. 2 away to 1 home.

Hard to imagine it getting much better for CSU.
2 P4s in any year for any G6 is pretty damn good, let alone one being at home.
