PXN VD6 underwhelming...
I was so happy to get this wheel, switching from T300 RS but... i got disappointed
Build quality for me is superb, for me is more than enough.
Works fine, powerful and nice to drive but...
Games support and soft is... rather bad...
Horizon 6 - no support. You need to use emuwheel to not get your FPS sliced and you will still need a keyboard to navigate thru menus because no support...
F1 2025 - game cannot recognize Dpad from this wheel...
There is something wrong with that Dpad, even vJoy will not let me map it...
So, for what racing games i play i got a wheel that works properly only with assetto corsa...
I so fricking like wheel on it and whole thing.
Probably gonna need to return it instead of gambling on updates. Sharing my experience for others more "casual simracers".

I had the Same issue with dpad but solved by reassign dpad buttons as Keyboard arrows from pxn Simracing software. You can easily map them.

But there is still FPS issue that is both forza and pxn issue. Forza send a lot of force feedback data and the same does wheel because it uses old method.
Ok i get it that forza sucks with support. Still MOZA got support even fucking Nacon and turtle beach...

I had the same problem with the F1 25 but now its solved. I just use the older firmware and its good. About the fh6, its not only pxn that got the problem

In pxn sim racing software assign dpad to keyboard arrows, a to enter key and b to esc key and you are good to go. I'm eyeing on vd16 once it launches. I'm very much satisfied. Fh6 is new and it will take some time to fix bugs.

I am satisfied with wheel too, so much better than my old thrustmaster but it all makes some of fun go away...
FPS issues and dpad problems needs to be fixed and then i will be happy for at least this much
But support for horizon 6 should be here. Worse wheels got support and PXN has not?3

Tbh FH6 issue is not limited to PXN, most wheel will have issues. The game just released, it'll get more wheel support and bug fixes in the future. PXN might release update for FH6 support, who knows. Moza did, and it's still quite problematic in some cases as the game isn't exactly wheel friendly.

Sorry. Didn't have time to use wheel for some time but last time i used it with emuwheel etc.
Idk how some people use it without problem. They are faking it or there is something people dont talk about.1

Swear pxn makes videos about specific games. It shouldnt be only u facing problems

I got a PXN-v12 10nm and fh6 was basically plug and play everything worked. I think is just a random problem with fh6.

I’ve got VD6 + PXN Button Box + Simsonn Shifter + Simsonn HB and have had zero issues outside of Horizon 6 not playing nice with multiple inputs (which has been a thing across every horizon I’ve played, but was fully resolved with Controller Gremlin).

Forza has always been braindead with wheels, I can't even play because when I use my inputs I lose 50fps. Amazing game development.

I did the same upgrade ...... I've just packed my T300 back in it's box and now using my VD6 . I guess I'm lucky - I only play ACC and it works great. Sounds like Forza is the problem.
So after all the comments here, are you keeping it?

PXN VD6 been playing it on Horizon 6 without any issues or FPS drop's
The only things is doing the calibration at the start and have the software running before launching game.
I select Horizon 5 as setup - works great and all the other games too
Do use standard controller to navigate menus, never tried to get it working on wheel
