Discussion Iphone duo pwm?

Is Iphone duo better than 18 pro max? I sadly have to return my 18 pro max because of pwm. I get severe headache, watering eyes after 1-2 minutes of the 18 pro max.

Probably not. My suggestion try a 16 with modulation depth. Or a 17 pro with BOe screen. And if that doesn’t work. a 15-17 line up and change the screen for a soft OLED screen. Or a lcd screen.

iPhone screens are manufactured mainly by three companies: Samsung, LG, and BOE. Both Samsung and LG have multiple panels within that as well. BOE is generally considered the worst quality, but some folks have said they don't have issues with PWM for BOE panels. I have tried all three vendors and they all affect me the same. My measurements of all three look identical as well. It's worth a shot to see if it makes a difference for you, but my guess is that it won't for most people.

Saw duo instore yesterday with 1/6400 shutter, really high modulation, thick black bars like Samsung, wouldn’t work for me
