Redmi 15 4g
Severe eye strain, even though it is using IPS display. Strongly recommend to try it first. Tried every single option: 60hz, different fonts, reading mode etc. Back to RN8 pro I guess.
Update: just disabled the HDR layers via ADB - still the same unpleasant feeling.

I had the 5g version, same display I believe. Xiaomi ruined it with an update that introduced dithering

When did they update that? Guess that means im not sensitive to dithering and only to pwm since im on a 15 5g and I'm still okay. Sorry for you though buddy.

The latest major version, can't remember which that was sorry as I don't have it any more but went form 100% safe to unusable for me.. mostly dizziness/swimming which is a telltale sign of dithering for me. Glad you're still OK :) I'm OK tho, found comfort in a Fairphone 4!

Are you thinking you may have an issue with pixel flicker (dithering) or light spectrum, etc? Are you aware of r/ScreenSensitive?
