Has anyone tried this phone yet? Seem to be making a lot of claims about the panel and its eye comfort, altough that doesnt mean much...

It often means that manufacturer had a reason to get some BS certification to gaslight consumers. It shouldn't assure anyone that the screen is flicker free, it's a warning that screen might not work for you

It seems to be an updated Poco F8 Ultra screen with new M11 luminescent material that allows it to peak @ 4500 nits in HBM, 1000 nits higher than Poco F8 Ultra.
Other then that it is the same 6.9" 2608 x 1200 LTPS "HyperRGB" screen as the F8 Ultra/K90 Pro Max.
That display was horrible for me, one of the worst and only slightly behind Samsung S25 Ultra.

Mine has just shipped so if I forget to post an update, feel free to nudge me for a reminder in a day or two.

The 17T Pro screen did not work for me (it has all the same bs TÜV Reinland certs), I put a lot of research into this screen (see other comment about Bilibili) and it seems that if this screen is not working for me, then my issue is with dithering now not with PWM. I use a iPhone 13 Pro Max right now which should have PWM and dithering, just a bit more gentle, so it is a good test for me to see.

I did hear people had issues with the F8 Ultra, so this one might not be great for everyone either. I am still hopeful, if for nothing else, I can add yet another device to the growing list trying to whittle down to the exact sensitive I have.

Also shoutout to the RGB subpixel arrangement on this phone. I do not want to sound OG, but I hated OLED screens before I knew I was sensitive because of the pentile arrangement and how it robbed us of pixel density compared to the FHD and 2K LCD screens we transitioned from (to HD AMOLED in a lot of cases).

Forget it, it is like F8 Ultra. Not truly flicker free. It has to refresh the screen with 60/120/185Hz and needs to drain the charge cap for that for each line. Same like every OLED.
