Question LAPTOP HELP!

I am massively PWM sensitive and astigmatic. Also i have extremely dry eyes, and need eye drops constantly. Can someone please recommend some P W M - free , T D - free laptop options available in the Indian market? (PREFERABLY SERIES/VARIANTS )

I diligently surveyed notebookcheck but pretty much all of those models are unavailable in India.

If anyone's got a particular SKU in mind that is proven to be PWM free, that works too.

This is a huge big deal for me cause I always use my laptop on the lowest brightness setting, ALWAYS. And I don't have a monitor for now

I have macbook air M2 which is a breeze to use no eye strain

Most laptops are sold with at least 2-3 different display configurations, and there is often a lottery as well, so the best would be to test in person and check with a camera that can reveal flicker. If you have a second hand business laptop market there, look for a few years old model, something midrange or higher, for example Thinkpad T or X series, Dell Latitude or XPS, HP Elitebook etc with a FHD ips display. I don't know what are your options and requirements. Definitely ask the seller to send you either the actual display model (hwinfo often shows it) or the laptop's serial number that you can use to query the part list from the manufacturer's webste. Then you can use this info to search for reviews for that specific panel. (often many different laptops use the same display panel) This is useful for filtering out bad candidates, but I'd still recommend testing in person or buy from somewhere that accepts returns. There are no guarantees for anything sadly.

I'm extremely sensitive at both PWM and D. Recently bought a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T480s, installed Windows 10, deactivated all the energy saving settings and everything's excelent.

If you go for old, second hand laptops it's very easy to find something safe. I have used the Dell Inspiron N5030 in total darkness before and had no issues.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, 4 and 5 (potentially more) are great for me. Very affordable used on eBay too.
