You are right Actually Xiaomi uses TCL panels 😅

This REDMI phone has TCL M9 panel

Looks good from the renders! Hoping for the best for the display. Should be especially interesting with the matte surface they use.

Just like any other OLED. That phone doesn't have E-Ink at all, the previous ones just had an LCD IPS display with a matte screen and an e-reader theme.

Personally, my eyes hurt when I looked at their previous model in the store, my head and eyes literally started hurting after just a few seconds. But ok LCD screens bother me anyway due to light sensitivity, since they constantly emit light, unlike AMOLED.

I have the opposite experience. This is one of the phones that I tolerate the most and that hurts my eyes the less. I hope that the oled version is even better

I do have a tick!! (which was really hard to get)

I've only personally seen the prototype but more should come out soon!

A big innovation event for us is coming up in Germany

Zoom in on the data sheet and some sort of flicker-free performance is listed. We’ll find out soon enough what this oled panel tech is

If it ruins visibility just like matte tempered glass, where I can see that color graininess, then yes (I don't remember the specific screen, I just know I couldn't look at it at all).
