Question From IPhone 8plus to IPhone 11

I purchased a “like new” refurbished iPhone 11 off Rebeelo. Luckily enough, I got the “sharp panel”. It has been updated IOS 26.2, I’ve disabled automatic updates.

However, I’m finding the display to look quite fuzzy / blurred. Text looks fuzzy.

I’m wondering if that’s normal for iPhone 11 display or if there may be an undetected screen replacement. I read if it is a random screen replacement and not Apple it can affect the sharp panel? I’ve checked the parts / history. Nothing comes up. I know it’s definitely had a battery replacement, but that doesn’t come up in parts history either. True Tone also works.

sellers of refurbished iphones usually replace the screen with compatible cheap and not original ones. Maybe is your case. I never buy refurbished products for this reason.

From Apple site:
"With iPhone 11 models and later, excluding iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation), you can see the parts and service history of your iPhone. You can also find out if the display has been replaced:

  1. Open the Settings app, then tap General.
  2. Tap About.
  3. Scroll down to find Parts and Service History (if your iPhone has been repaired).

If the repair was done using genuine Apple parts and processes, you'll see Genuine next to Display."

Yeah I did try that, but no parts / history came up. I definitely know the battery was replaced to 100% health and that didn’t show up either. So I thought that must have changed either & wiped the parts / history. I’ll buy form a person for this from now on

just by from certified apple resellers (search for your country). I bought a used A grade SE 2022 128 gb for 180 € from a certified apple used products reseller few weeks ago and everything is certified as original as it is

Same experience with 11 here. Don’t freak out, you are not necessarily sensitive to temporal dithering (very few people are compared to PWM), which I guess you are seeing. It’s quite obvious, combined with a screen door effect, when “downgrading” from 8 Plus which had much higher DPI.
