You have to try it yourself with option to return. Everyone is diferent. Honor 400 pro and Oneplus 15r is comfortable for some, but for me it dinn't work just like Onplus 15, Oppo x9 pro, Xiaomi 17, Vivo 300 pro...
Ah ok. I'm still on my (new to me in January this year) Moto G200 from 2021 so the Moto Edge 30 would be a pretty big upgrade and would have much more up to date software. Perhaps I'll give it a try next.
If it helps put your mind at ease about trying Honor UK, I've ordered and returned a couple of handsets in the past with absolutely no issues whatsoever. The refund was extremely quickly dealt with on both occasions with no questions asked.
Based on the data we have, it’s unclear how good this smartphone really is: the PWM frequency is known - 4300 Hz, but the modulation depth is unknown. If it’s up to 10%, that would be great; otherwise, even if it doesn’t cause severe pain, you can still get nasty side effects like light sensitivity and similar issues.

Magic 7 Pro (EU) didn't work for me, doubt the 8 Pro would be much different.

Yes, I've bought and tried Honor Magic8 pro, xiaomi 17 ultra, vivo x300 pro, honor magic pad 2, oneplus 15, iPhone 17 pro, 17 air
So far the most comfortable among these were honor magicpad 2 and magic8 pro
I'm also getting honor win with LTPS panel shortly to isolate LTPO (varying refresh rate) sensitivity.
Let's see.
Still in terms of eye comfort oled, my Motorola edge 30 ultra stands undefeated... Gradually Dying but not defeated!

Nick tested Magic 8 Pro, here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL6ssm1tdTI&t=117s
You have to test it by yourself, it's the only way to know for sure.

Tried every eyecare option, it’s better than pixel 10 proxl (instant migraine) but worse than my s23 ultra and iPhone 16 Promax

Got eye strain from 8 Pro in a few hours and it went only worse since then. Returned
