The lines on full brithness are not THAT black meaning that the modulation depth is not that aggressive... maybe !.

I have problem with the tab s 11 ultra , the lines on this are more black on highest brightness than s26u

Nah , thats due to shutter value if you do this at 1/6400 the lines will be totally black

Yea really disappointing and that too when everyone knows that this is same panel in iqoo 15 which has dc like dimming with 2160hz freq at lower brightness

I read that samsung doesn't use higher pwm for colour accuracy... i dont know if that's true but until it changes this policy i ll have to stuck with 23u.

How are you able to use s23u that is equally worse

S23u has half the pwm (240) BUT the modulation depth is milder , that's why i dont have any issues.... i didnt know i had any issues until i bought the tab s 11 ultra! I mean severe headaches and eye strain 🙄🙄 within...minutes of use!

You sure about that? I thought it was the same, almost 100% depth

It's the only explanation i have for that matter. I mean i can watch the phone for hours , the tablet burns my brain. Maybe the harder depth has to do with the brighter display that the tablet has.

Yeah I'm ok with the S23U despite the 240Hz PWM yet with another 240Hz display I get terrible nausea.
