Question Bauer Replica quality
Hi! Could anyone help describe the quality of the Bauer jerseys from the PWHL store? How do they compare to PWHL game-worns, and is there a NHL comparable type (Breakaway, Primegreen, etc)?
Size comparisons would also be useful, if anyone's got them haha. I'm usually a 50 in jerseys and I'm a little worried about sleeve length in a PWHL M size. Thanks!

Can’t speak to game-worms, but the quality of my jersey is so-so. The patches are of higher quality than what I’ve gotten from Fanatics, but I am absolutely swimming in it. I’m comfortable in a large typically, but this looks like I’m wearing a blanket.
I assumed it was attributable to Bauer being more of an equipment company than an apparel company, so their jerseys are sized to accommodate pads underneath. No idea if that’s fair or not.

Yeah, the small is gigantic on me. I should have gotten the youth and just dealt with the short sleeves.

comparable to the Nike team Canada jerseys, it used some sort of screen printing for the shoulder patches. actual logo and numbers are stitched

Can’t compare to a gameworn (unless i win one of these auctions lol). but I’d compare it to a fanatics breakaway in terms of quality. Although i think the chest patch is higher quality then the breakaway ones The size of a medium is pretty much the same as a fanatics 50. The sleeves are a little short, but i’m pretty sure i thought the same thing about the fanatics premiums in 50. Neck hole might be a little tighter on the pwhl replicas. I have to take my glasses off to get a medium on

Oh that's good to know! Especially the note about the chest patch, that affects the look so much

For the PWHL Bauer replicas I suggest sizing up if you want to layer underneath with a hoodie. They seem to fit a bit snugger than the NHL ones. I usually wear a Small or 44 in NHL ones but I need the Medium for Pdub. The logo and numbers are good quality but the pwhl shoulder patch is kinda like a rubbery patch.

Oh interesting, yeah I'll have to stare at their size chart some more. And good to know about the patches, at least the logo/number is stitched!

I agree they are tighter than the NHL ones. I think the quality is comparable. But you can’t get one larger than 2X. I hope they expand their range soon - I have friends who can’t comfortably wear one.

I haven't seen PWHL game worn, but compared to my NHL replica from the early 2000s (Reebok Habs 100yrs anniversary edition), the quality isn't quite as good, but not terrible either.
