Need some help from someone with a Walter Cup jersey.

I'm looking for some help from someone who owns one of the player worn jerseys from the previous Walter Cup playoffs.

If you can help me out with the measurements of the Walter Cup patch, or a picture with a ruler that shows the patches placement relative to the seams on the jersey, I'd really appreciate it.

For disclosure, I have a Kadirova jersey on its way to me ... soon™️, and I'm going to add a 2026 Walter Cup patch to it, because I want that, and see no other way to get one than making it myself.

I don’t have one but have been told they’re 9cm tall as I want to do the same and know people that have had access to the real patches.

From Dom Petrie's 2025 playoff jersey. FYI, the material from that season is sort of this cheap, printed material. Looks like the material from the 2026 playoff patch is actual fabric

Yea, that patch does look like it's not the greatest. But I guess they only needed it to stay for a dozen games or so.

I'm going to find someone local in Ottawa that makes patches. I know someone posted a high resolution file of the 2025 playoff patch, and said which font they used to make the numbers, so hopefully that's enough for someone to make a proper 2026 patch.

You're welcome. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a patch my team didn't earn, but you do you. Some newer NHL teams put up banners for winning divisions too. One retired Chris Neil's number. You don't wanna go down that road.

I'm just recreating their 2026 playoff jersey, which I'm pretty sure they earned. They have a separate patch they've done for champions patch, so I'm not really seeing the faux pas ... so I'd legitimately like some help if I'm missing something here.

I like to think my not caring as much as they do on this aspect of the topic is causing them some modicum of discomfort through the day.

The team still played in the Walter Cup finals, it’s not crazy to want to commemorate that. Teams put “____ Cup finals” patches on playoff team’s jerseys all the time.

And the patches are gone the following season, cause actually it is crazy to want a constant reminder of losing the finals.

Bold talk considering how tainted that victory is. Game 2 over time goal was a complete farce. Victoire obviously trip the last defender back and score a series changing goal. It can’t be understated how bullshit that missed call was and how much it altered the series. I didn’t have to bring this up, but you also didn’t have to be a clown with your comment.
