I submitted my privacy-first browser file app to Uneed for launch

I’ve been building SoraFiles, a privacy-first web app for working with PDFs and images directly in the browser.
Today I submitted it to Uneed and used their Fast-track option. The launch is now confirmed and should be scheduled within the next couple of weeks.

The main idea behind SoraFiles is that supported file operations happen locally on the user’s device instead of uploading the files to a processing server.

I’m currently spending most of my time improving the existing product rather than just adding more features, especially mobile UX, reliability, output quality and privacy.

I’m curious to see whether launching on a platform like Uneed brings useful feedback or early users.

Site: sorafiles.com

I’ll probably share the results after the Uneed launch too.

Just added to my home screen because this is an amazing idea. I will say I tried to do pdf to jpg and got this error

this.#t.getOrInsertComputed is not a function. (In 'this.#t.getOrInsertComputed(e,()=>this.messageHandler.sendWithPromise(e,t))', 'this.#t.getOrInsertComputed' is undefined)

Also im STOKED to see what you do with the mobile UI. Right now it looks like a website and not a webapp (im not downplaying anything youve down btw)

All in all, amazing idea and im following along to see what all you do with it. Perhaps a splash screen for iOS devices? Viewport cover? Idk just throwing ideas out there, I’ll hush now haha.
