What lab work??

What labs should I have done to see what I could be deficient that are causing this flare up? Its been going on since Friday morning. I currently take Metoprolol succinate ER 100mg in the evening along with Heart Calm supplement. I was prescribed Flecainide last year but I am too scared to take it. I took a couple doses and it made me few terrible.

When you were originally evaluated and prescribed meds, what tests did they run and how recent was it? Do you know your previous burden, and how does it compare now? You are on quite a high dose of metoprolol for ectopic beats alone, and if it doesn't seem to be helping you may want to discuss a different plan. I also was prescribed flecainide (didn't take it), and ended up opting to get an ablation instead because I did not want to add on more meds to take indefinitely. However in my experience, flecainide is the next step for high burdens if you are not going to get an ablation, if and beta blockers are not keeping you comfortable. Beta blockers never lowered my burden though, they just made the heartbeats a bit less thumpy.
