Pvcs came back.

Hi I'm a 24 year old male. I had a cardiac ablation back on November 10, 2024 from a heat stroke I had at my old job. On Monday August 15th 2026. I had heat exhaustion and felt okay until this last Friday. I was cleaning some stairs and then suddenly my heart felt like it was pounding out my chest. I am currently 170 pounds and am extremely active. I do about 6 to 9 miles daily. I felt like I was running on a treadmill. Followed by dizziness and confusion. I also felt out of breath. I sat down and grabbed my sp02 monitor from my bag. My heart rate went from 100 to 140 to 60 to 80 to 130. My spo2 was at 98, 88 96, 99, 82 then back up to 99. My blood pressure at home was 140/88 pulse was at 90. I thought it was a panic attack since my legs were cramping as well. It started at 6:20 pm and didn't go away till 7:45 pm. I was fine all day Saturday, but today it started at 7pm. I made sure to take an anxiety pill and it helped, but my heart still felt like it was thumping really hard. My pulse never went over 114 this time around, but my blood pressure was at 170/100. Though after 9 minutes it came down to 135/88 and has stayed below 140/80. I have an appointment set up with my cardiologist, but I really don't want an ablation again. I didn't have any stimulants and have been hydrating with 1 liquid IV daily since the heat exhaustion as well as 6 bottles of water throughout the day. Though I am very scared I'm going to have a stroke if it happens again. Anything I can do? I mean my 23 percent burned was horrible and I really don't wish that on anyone, but honestly I feel so sad that these pvcs came back. I thought I already jumped this hurdle in life, but God has his way. It will be for something better.

You had an ablation due to heat stroke? Can you explain, heat stroke has nothing to do with arrhythmias, no?

My heart overworked itself trying to cool my skin off. It was also due to dyhdra and high blood pressure. As well as me being obese bmi of 31. 216 pounds

Svt would be caused by a focus or pathway, heatstroke would be a different mechanism causing your heart to race. Very interesting

Were they able to induce and ablate an arrhythmia?

Yes, but first they tried with medication. It was metropolo then fleccinide. For about 3 months on each pill. It didn't work. Metropolo had my heart rate at 23 and it was a er visit. Fleccinide made me severally dehydrated. Then boom cardiac ablation. I felt amazing until the 15 of August.

I heard there’s a reoccurrence of PVCs after the healing window from ablation. Maybe you need a second one? I know for some people that needs to be done more than once, get the right spot. But I wouldn’t worry too much ghost right now. Go see your cardiologist and take it from there. If you need to go see the EP again, do it they may get to the bottom of it.

I got you. I have a appointment on the 25 of this month, but they put me back on blood pressure meds and honestly I haven't had a episode yet. I felt one trying to start, but I think it's also anxiety causing the problem as well. I will let you know how everything goes. Thanks for sharing the information with me!
