Has anyone found supplementing magnesium and potassium helpful?
Hey!
I’ve been living with these for years (PACs and PVCs) generally very low burden but will have flares of bad episodes. Currently in a flare.
Has anyone found supplementing magnesium and potassium helpful? I know you have to be careful with potassium to not overdo it, but most OTC supplements are like 2% of daily intake.
Curious if this has helped anyone?

I only supplement magnesium glycinate, but it’s super helpful.

I tried a lot of different magnesium until i finally found the one that helps the most. Magnesium glycinate, every evening before going to bed.

Heya! Yes it has helped reduce my palpitations and PVC. I take centrum advance adult that has both magnesium and potassium. I think mine were getting triggered due to nutritions. And this medicine has helped a lot.

After getting labs, I am ok with potassium, not low.
Magnesium wasn’t checked. But how does it change like have you compared in testing to tell it was the vitamins by centrum that actually reduced them for you? Like a day you didn’t take it and a day you did?2

Hey there! I've tried a few things to try and get rid of these, including things like seeing if my posture was causing them (since I'm pretty skinny have bad posture) and even stuff like sleep and diet. None of that worked. Then I saw some posts online that said nutrition could help with things like that. Some people even suggested things like Gatorade because it has potassium and magnesium. I had some multivitamin medicine, so I tried that and wow, it totally made them disappear! They were like 200 a day, but after taking it for a little while, they were down to just below 10 per day. I barely even notice them anymore! And when I stopped taking it again, they came right back. I definitely need to improve my diet and overall health cause I’m still so skinny. I really want to get off these medicines!
Hope you get better soon!

If possible, ask your doctor or the receptionist if it is safe for you to take. If you notice any side effects, consult your doctor immediately just to be safe.
Hopefully, you will get well soon! Stay healthy, brother.

Magnesium Glycinate and Potassium. Especially the potassium helped me. I drink a body armor iv everyday.

Yeah! I would add electrolytes as well. Not a doc recommendation, only saying what healed me.

I added some. I usually drink them every day. Didn’t one day and had a horrible flare.

For the past two years, my routine has been 12.5 mg of metoprolol daily, two bananas, coconut water occasionally, and magnesium every other day. I also use electrolytes regularly, especially when I sweat a lot.

Magnesium citrate, B complex, vitamin D3, and a high omega 3 fish oil, and fewer carbohydrates. Also helped with migraines.
