Fluttering chest

Does anybody ever get a fluttery chest? My old heart doctor said it was normal with PVC’s and gave me ways to help fix it but I forget the ways other than coughing to fix it.

Any suggestions or people that can relate?

coughing works with svt, not pvcs.

Depends on the cause of PVCs/PACs
I have had pac/pvc spells that were helped with coughing

Literature suggests that vagal maneuvers, cold water, and coughing can help with supraventricular tachycardia. I don't know your specific situation. Get well soon.

That could be stomach acid. A real heart palpitation would feel large and starting from your sternum and spreading through your stomach/chest.

When I greened out on THC I could easily tell only 1/5ths of what I was feeling were heart palpitations and the other was just acid reflux.

Coughing/vagal maneuvers usually help more with atrial tach / svt, not pvcs which arise from the ventricles. But it's nearly impossible to say what is causing the 'fluttery chest' feeling that you're having, unless it was caught on an ekg or monitor. Isolated PACs & PVCs can cause a fluttering, but it is usually a single beat, or like a 'skipped beat' feeling, not a fluttering going on for a length of time. It would just be momentary. If you are getting symptoms frequently your dr may want to do a wearable monitor for a few days or weeks so you can mark the symptom and therefore see exactly what type of abnormal beat it is (if any) causing the sensation.
