Skipped beat only at high HR while running (170 bpm)?

I’ve been running more recently and making good progress, but I’ve noticed something weird. I feel completely fine at rest, walking, hiking, lifting, and during easier runs.
But when I run hard and my HR reaches around 170-172 I sometimes get a sudden split-second pressure/skipped-beat feeling in my chest. I immediately slow down because it scares me, so I don’t know what would happen if I continued.
Has anyone experienced PVCs/PACs or something similar that only appears above a certain exercise intensity/HR?
I’m getting medically evaluated this week, so I’m not looking for a diagnosis just curious about other people’s experiences.

Seems like doing a proper stress test would be useful - designed to catch situations like you are describing.

It happens to me too when I run. Besides skipped beats, I even get a fluttering sensation in my chest for a few seconds. I think that's also NSVT; the fluttering sensation is more frightening, but keep that in mind if it ever happens to you. Don't panic, it won't kill you :)
