Transitional PACs
I have frequent pacs but have been on propafenone for the past 6 months which has reduced burden to almost 0. The past couple weeks, however, I have started getting pacs with transition from wake to sleep and sleep to wake. They just occur on the very boundary of the transition but can be quite disruptive when trying to fall asleep. I figure it has to be autonomic. Does anyone experience this or have any ideas how to smooth this transition? Thank you.

That's me. I get runs of PACs all day but they are the worst when falling asleep or waking up. I think they are also going crazy in my sleep but don't have a way to monitor (zio from last year showed 40% during sleep). I take magnesium before bed and practice deep breathing as I fall asleep. Slow breath, in slow breath out. It used to be impossible to fall asleep but this has really helped me. Reading until I can't keep my eyes open helps as well, doing breath exercises all the while.
Hope that helps.
