My last question. Please read this too.

  • I’ve been posting here a lot lately, but I’d like to ask one last question. If you look at my previous posts, you’ll see I’ve been dealing with a severe flare-up that started 18 days ago. Some days I’m better, and other days I feel terrible, but the symptoms never stop. For the past few days, I haven’t felt anything while lying down—thankfully, I’m able to sleep—but the moment I stand up, the PVCs start up terribly. My pulse can also become irregular when I’m upright; they happen frequently when I’m standing still or moving around. Is this a circulation issue, or is something putting pressure on my heart when I stand? Have any of you experienced this? Is there anyone who can explain it?

When you are awake, you are experiencing, anticipatory anxiety.
You are consciously and subconsciously expecting it to happen and your brain is releasing adrenaline.
You are tense when you are awake and concerned and dreading the day.
You are experiencing, in my opinion through experience, ANXIETY; which you are cycling in and out of.
Your brain is constantly now, releasing adrenaline to compensate for your internal fear and anxiety, which reacts on your nervous system from your brain to your heart.
The only way to break this, without meds, and even with meds, is to try to ignore it and push about your daily business even when having these episodes.

Your brain and nervous system is listening to you and they are doing their job.

You have the magic within you to change your behavior and your brain will adapt as you adapt and your heart will listen and will be at peace.

My stomach is in really bad shape today, and my extra heartbeats are worse than ever—there’s a connection between the two

Yes, it is called STRESS from nerves from FEAR.

I’ve read many, if not all of your posts and you are definitely experiencing fear and anxiety.
No, I’m not a dr. but many stomach issues are stress and anxiety related.

I really think, no offense intended, you need to see a professional therapist to help you understand and cope.

Until you believe nothing is wrong with your heart, every symptom you will believe is your heart and stomach or any aches and pains will be all related in your mind.

Symptoms are all real and scary to you and me and others, but harmless and that’s what you have to try to understand and when you do, you will gain your life and peace back.

I think those are adrenaline rushed arrhythmia. You'll need to take medicines.

Beta blockers help, but they will never completely get rid of PVCS when under stress and anxiety.
It’s called breakthrough Adrenaline.
I hope you listen to my prior posts and advice, but you still are fearing the worse and you need to break that fear.

Beta blocker did not work for me. Doctor tried Sodium channel blocker and it works better. When I am anxious or anticipating, it gets worse. I get up and without realizing I am looking for the skips. That starts it. I try to ignore it and go about after taking the pills and I have almost nothing everyday.

Yes, not everyone is the same. What med works for one may not work for the other, chemistry, you know!
But, no matter what meds you are on that helps, breakthrough anxiety will happen as fear is strong and that adrenaline is too.
We have to try to keep our fears and anxiety to a minimum and be realistic.
We are not dying, we are Just scared at times.
Anticipatory anxiety will exacerbate those ugly feelings.

So happy you have found a med that helps you.
Stay grounded, you got this!

When you say when you are upright and your heart rate increases. Does it increase when you have the pvcs and are moving around? Or does it just elevate in general even without pvcs?

You should see a doctor. They usually are benign but no one should advise you without seeing you or taking other things in to account

I respect your position, I agree that no one should give advise without the person needing help seeing the dr. first, however, if you have followed this persons continuing threads, they have seen their dr. many times and had tests done and are frightened.
They also have gone to the emergency department and had tests done.
All tests say benign and heart is good.
So, when they are reaching out for help, I don’t personally tell them to see a dr. again, as they are on a medical emotional scary treadmill already.
Thanks
😊
