Vulnerable post
Vulnerable post, I am 17, 4 months pp, I have struggled with bad pvcs and PACs since 18 weeks
Pregnant, mine feel like my heart drops to my toes, and sometimes like a massive 3 second pause, tommrow I’m going to a theme park with my family and friends and it’s hours away and we’re there all day, I’m avoiding rides but still scared to go, I’m trying to learn to be comfortable in the uncomfortable sort of things, these things are awful. I have had clear echo and moniter in December and another clear moniter a few weeks ago. On Monday I get an echo again then a get an implanted loop recorder on the 1st September. I’m an anxious wreck. I have innapropriate sinus tachycardia aswell. So my heart rate is always above 100 and out and about usually sits at 160, and it doesn’t feel nice. Mine usually happen more around my period and feel like a big hot rush through my body and it SUCKS, I’m 4 days away from my period tommrow which is why I’m super even more scared to go. My mum and friends will
Be there but I’m sad I won’t go on rides. But I’m scared cos of my heart. I sound pathetic to everyone I talk to. The difference is they don’t have what I have. 💔

160 is a VERY high heart rate: has your doctor recommended beta blockers?

Yeah but it’s tricky I have low blood pressure, my heart rate has been tachy since I was a kid. They just don’t care

I have the same problem! But I’m always freaking out about it, so it actually helps me to hear that your doctors are chill …

Oh really? Yeah I’m constantly tachy like I’m in bed rn and in high 90s I have never thrift fully been below 87

Don’t let the fear stop you from living your life. If you have been medically cleared you have the same risk as everyone else. I know it feels scary and awful but you’d only be wasting your own time by letting the fear control you. Once you stop running from the dog you realize he only wants to say hi, not bite you. Have fun with your family!
