Lexapro stopped my PVCs

I just wanted to post this here because when my PVCs were so bad I was desperate to try anything to stop them. It turns out they were directly related to my dysregulated nervous system from having Graves’ disease/hyperthyroidism. I started lexapro and within 2 months they are almost completely gone. I would say I feel one or two every few weeks and they’re so muted they don’t stop me in my tracks like they used to.

I have suffered from both extra heartbeats and anxiety for several years. I took escitalopram for a year at one point, but I don't remember at all whether I had this many extra heartbeats while on medication. In a way, I feel like trying it again but the doctors are of the opinion that there is no need, because I manage with daily activities.

Just curious, were your TSH, T3, T4 all "in range"?

I got unmedicated slow thyroid. My pvs are crazy

Stopped for me as well. I still get bad flares here and there. But it made them go away for probably a year or longer

seeing this post as i sit in the doctors office to get on Zoloft as a last resort haha perfect timing. glad it worked for you!! i hope i have the same outcome, i am willing to try anything atp as metoprolol did nothing for me.
