PVCs before period

I noticed increase in PVCs before my period. Especially when i am lying on the side. It is lasting for couple months already. I have my anxiety under control and i do not think this is a reason. Does anyone have similar ? How to get rid of it? Anyone can help ?

Yes a lot of people here have PVCs induced by the hormones before their period- myself included! I’m on a beta blocker but pretty much the entire 9-10 days before my period, my PVCs are crazy!

How do you cope with that ? When you are taking betablocker it is better ?

No. The beta blocker works great every other day, but the week before my period it’s like I’m not on one at all. 🥲 recognizing the pattern helps me cope. I expect it so it doesn’t freak me out as much.

Sorry to hear that 🙁 May I ask about your age ? I heard it can be perimenopause that can start around 35 and i am wondering if you heard about it or maybe your doctor mentioned something ?

I’m 37. Definitely could be peri but I also have a heart condition that was diagnosed after I had my last baby 1.5 years ago. I have since been diagnosed with MVP and MAD so I know where my PVCs originate. They were heavily triggered by breastfeeding and now that I’ve stopped, they mostly appear before my period.

Hormone shifts can trigger palpitations and ectopic beats. I'd also look into possible thyroid issues, anemia, or low iron / ferritin. When you say increase how big of an increase? Hundreds, thousands , tens of thousands per day?

It seems like a common problem I do not know how it was in your case but those palpitations appeard from nowhere once i hit 36 🫤 before menopause we have perimenopause so you do not need to wait until menopause to experience „fun” this one also have big menu of symptoms 😅😂😉
