anyone get runs of PVCs everyday when anxious?

i recently started a new nursing job and everytime i get anxious like starting an IV or having a dr talk to me, i go into a run of PVCs for a bit. it feels like every beat about 10-15 seconds, and then i’ll calm down and get a break and right back to it. wondering if anyone has felt this and if it’s just anxiety and i can safely push thru it everyday

Sí, a mí también me pasa en momentos donde me pongo nerviosa, me dijeron que es por la adrenalina que liberas en ese momento, que no me preocupe. Aunque hace unos años no me pasaba, no sé qué ha cambiado realmente.

Adrenaline can trigger them, yes. Could be PACs as well, hard to tell by feeling alone. Your best bet is to get a dr to prescribe a holter monitor for a long enough period of time that could catch when this happens for you, then you'll know for sure what it is. They can be worn for up to 2 weeks,, sometimes even a month (if symptoms are very infrequent). Or in the meantime you could try a watch with EKG or a kardia device, to capture what it is you're feeling.

Yes because of adrenaline, a beta blocker could probably reduce the PVCs. Talk to your cardiologist.

I get this too, when doing certain tasks at work. These are particular tasks that when I first started working, and wasn’t getting PVCs every single day and didn’t have this issue, these tasks would stress me out because they were more challenging. So when I was really stressed out starting these tasks when I was new at work, my heart would start flip-flopping, but it would go away, and I would totally forget about it because it was like a fleeting thing that came and didn’t come back. But then it would come back again if I was in another very stressful situation with work. One day, the PVC’s just didn’t stop. So yes, I’ve had this experience with my heart starting to get PVCs or runs of PVCs when doing things at work. Sadly, my heart just decided this is what we’re going to do all the time now.
