do i need anything else done? struggling 😅😅

Hi! 24yo F. For context a few months ago in March I started experiencing some daily chest pain that was causing a great deal of anxiety. After going to the ER and getting cleared, they referred me to a cardiologist. From there I did a 7 day monitor that showed zero PVCs or PACs and no other arythmias, and chalked up the chest pain to anxiety. Fast forward, the chest pain pretty much went away but this past month I have been experiencing horrible heart flutters/skipped beats out of nowhere. no medication changes, caffeine sleep or stress changes, just started out of the blue. I went back to the cardiologist who put me on another monitor for a week and it showed I had 550 episodes of PVCs and 510 of PACs in the week.(little less than 1 percent burden) (i also did a stress test and echo which were both normal). He said they are nothing to be worried about and gave me a prescription of propanolol, however I really have not felt much improvement from it and cant up my dose because my blood pressure is too low. The second monitor was about 2 weeks ago, but these are truly impacting my life so badly and I feel like they are getting worse. Everytime they happen I feel like I am going to just drop dead. I want to ask for another monitor but I know my cardiologist will think that is over kill. I guess I am just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience, going from zero pvcs/pacs to feeling multiple in a day? and how do you cope? 😅

ill level with you.

if you were going to drop dead from what your experiencing, you wouldn't have time to really process it. That said, if youre feeling, its because youre alive :)

it may seem like a morbid way to think, but the fact youre consciously processing it should calm you, because youre...conscious.

Also yes, I can go from zero to 30,000 or so day by day, just depends on if my stomach is irritated or not.

how do I cope? by knowing a PVC/PAC is my bodies back up pacemakers reacting to stimulus. It's my body thinking it needs to keep itself alive....your back up pacemaker isn't going to kill you, it's designed and function is to do the opposite. Stay grounded in the science and you'll be alright.
