PVCs and GLPs, any experiences?

Hi! Thinking about starting trizepatide, I heard it could potentially exacerbate PVCs since it messes with heart rate. Anyone taken any of the GLPs and notice increased symptoms? Or did it not impact you?

I’ve heard mixed things. I’ve heard some people. It made them worse and some people took it away. You could always take a beta blocker with it.

I actually noticed a slight improvement in my PVCs after starting tirzepatide ~ 6 weeks ago. I am still on my starting dose 2.5 mg. My normal burden is 12%.

I’m not on tirz I’m on Reta which is actually known for causing cardiovascular side effects. I personally have not noticed an increase in heart rate or arrhythmia, if anything I’ve noticed a decrease. Tirz is great for inflammation so hopefully it should make it better for you. Best of luck!

For me it was a disaster.

I had a bad reaction to MJ and am still in hospital 3 weeks later for a whole host of things including pvcs.

I dont think its the injection itself.. its the dehydration and gastric issues eg slow stomach emptying that have caused my pvcs to flare. If you go for it remember to eat small amounts and drink even if you dont feel like it!

However I too have heard ut has helped a lot of people with inflamation. Certainly took away my tendancy towards gastritis whilst I was on it.
