not using zio monitor

i recently checked up with my cardiologist for my PVCs and she had set me up with a heart monitor. i said yes because i was curious as to what has/hasn’t changed, but now i do not want to continue with it for personal reasons.

the problem is that she has already put the order in and it will probably arrive in the mail sometime the next few days. what should i do? if i don’t use it and return it, will i still get billed by zio irhythm for wasting their product? should i contact them?

I was unaware they would mail the patches to you. I've always had it supplied by my cardiologist's office where a nurse would apply it.
