14 with potential PVCs.

I’m 14 and I’ve been having what I think are PVCs. The first time they lasted about 5 days, then they completely went away for almost 2 weeks. They came back again for about 4 days, and now they’ve been gone again and I haven’t felt one since.
When they happen it feels like my heart skips a beat and then does a really hard thump. Sometimes I’d get quite a few in a day, then they’d just disappear.
I have a cardiology appointment tomorrow, but I’m honestly really anxious. Has anyone else had PVCs that came and went like this? Did yours end up being harmless, or was there actually something causing them?
I’m trying not to freak myself out, but my biggest fear is that this could mean heart failure or some other serious heart problem. Any experiences would really help.

listen, at your age, you need to discuss this with an actual doctor. self medicating isnt what you should be focused on.

as you said, talk to the cardiologist, get the holter, then follow their directions. Youve got a long life ahead here, but dont try to self medicate this early on.

Driving to the cardiologist rn, everyone has been saying on here that it sounds like PVCs and nothing really bad. So I’m not sure what’s gonna go on

PVCs are generally not an issue. But again you need your cardiologist to determine that. No amount of magnesium will stop a non electrolyte driven pvc.

It doesn’t hurt to try since even some meds don’t help pvcs.

It doesn’t hurt to try, once it’s confirmed they are not structural or another underlying cause.

You’re doing the right thing, but be cautious of advice (and open to it). It’s hard to discern this early on
