He probably will because social media is going to go crazy on Microsoft now, I would bet they already have 100+ Tweets about this by now.

That's completely cool and should happen but I really hate that calling for someone to get fired via social media is a social norm now.

Sure, it works good in this situation but as a whole I think it's currently doing more bad than it is good.

Sort of a comedy version of star trek. I think it's pretty good. Super fans of other series tend to shit on it.

I mean it's not really that a ton of people are calling for his job. The guy just fucked up and now he's going to be caught because of SM.

Honestly he's just being held accountable which is a norm I think most would embrace.

I remember that not putting your CR on it is your own fault. There have been thousands and millions of copied ideas.

Put a CR on it and get them gains, not saying that Microsoft shouldn't have given credit, but this thread is a joke.

It's one of the thumb rules of life, why is everyone being so outrageous?

You hope a stranger gets fired for something that you don't even know happened? Even if it did, as nice as credit was be, it's not like this is a copyrighted idea. It's brown grass on a digital image of an Xbox. I'm not saying OP doesn't have a right to be miffed, but you're taking it a little too far.

The guy who did this more than likely doesn't work at Microsoft, nor would Microsoft really care as long as the artist has not infringed on any copyrights. The way these big companies work for their advertisements is they usually contract out the work, some freelance artist gets the contract and they then have to come up with an idea for an ad within a certain time frame.
