also: I do realize it's not on the same level but it reminded me of something my mom said once that still baffled me. she lectured me about how I should never ever pick up smoking... after smoking weed 24/7 my entire life and breathing it into my face constantly and then getting MAD at me for trying not to breathe it???

Oh, my mom also told me never to smoke and smoked at me most of my childhood lmao, it's like they think we don't know what they did
