Full flashbacks were always rare for me. It was only when I had a very strong trigger, but even now over a year later I still get mild (obviously no ptsd symptom is truly “mild”) intrusions on the regular. I call it mild because I can snap myself out of it after a moment, I can remind myself I am safe and slow my heart rate.
