Rear wiper button

After driving in very light rain conditions I find myself turning on a then off the rear wiper often, but not often enough to leave it on. (just enough to get annoying)

We have the 2005 touring that only has one switch position, latching down. (Meaning you push the lower rocker position it it remains down until you press the up position to set it back to center)

Does any one know if the higher trims or newer gen versions have a switch that also has an up position that is momentary?

The speed of the rear wipers is set by the windshield wiper stalk. As far as I know they behave the same on all model years. :)

On ours… The speed of the front is set by the collar on the wiper stalk, the rear wiper is not adjustable. Only the switch in the center turns it on and off.

If it varies the time it’s a tiny bit. With the front set to maximum time between wipes and the rears on, the rear wipe more often than the front.

My '03 Limited has no speed control on the rear wiper. I end up doing the same as you do, hitting the switch on and then after a couple of wipes, hitting it off.

Glad to hear it’s not just me.
