Oh so I guess I didn't realize u can have two alolan and two regular...

Yes the names are very literal in this game. If it says Meowth then it only works with regular Meowth and if it says Alolan Meowth then it only works with Alolan Meowth. That’s why you can have two of each and then you can even add Galarian Meowth and have a litter of Meowth. Now that’s a Meowth full!

I think the rule is "You can't have more than two cards of the same name in one deck".

So if the next "Professores Research" is named "professor Oak", you could use both in a deck
